Most of her travels in the Caribbean and Central America have been on her 44 foot sailing cruiser where she also weaves on board. She began her Wooly Rescue for fiber-bearing animals, and along with Pygora goats she also raises Angora goats and a variety of fine wool and long wool sheep. She was given a spinning wheel and introduced to the fiber arts.
